It is a dark snowy day the dog is sleeping in its bed

near the back door

last year i should have trained a puppy

then today his name would be "mail mutt'

that's right let nothing break his stride

having nothing to hide

mailbox

non-stop

once he comes home with the mail..

i would slap him happily , stroke , pet him ..

it is two in the afternoon ..

.i am thinking about the silver lining to most days

night will come and postmen has made his run

could have left some fun

oh well this day is done

the postmen is so sweet

rain snow sleet

don't want to be draggin' my feet

i need to make it to the mailbox
